Update 28-09-26: cnMaestro Cloud: more time and new prospects
Cambium Networks has announced the extension of cnMaestro Cloud support until at least the end of October 2026 for its entire product portfolio, including enterprise solutions. This extension gives customers more time to plan the management of their existing infrastructure.
According to its latest statement, Cambium Networks aims to find a buyer for cnMaestro to ensure continued access over the long term. Alternatively, it intends to enable migration from the cloud platform to an on-premises deployment. These are encouraging prospects for the continuity of the ecosystem, alongside the potential sale of additional technology segments.
Meanwhile, Cambium Networks is developing an on-premises version of Network Service Edge (NSE) and expects to make it available to existing users in the coming days. Aikom Technology will monitor developments and update partners as soon as operational guidance becomes available.
Update – 23 September 2026: Airspan and the continuity of the acquired product lines
Airspan Networks Holding has confirmed its acquisition of several Cambium Fixed Wireless product lines. It has assumed warranty and support obligations and confirmed the continued availability of cnMaestro for the acquired products.
The acquisition includes PMP 450, PTP 670, PTP 700, cnWave and cnReach, along with several software products used to manage and plan the associated networks. The full list of products available to order from Airspan can be found at this link.
Headquartered in Plano, Texas, with more than 400 employees worldwide, Airspan develops wireless solutions for indoor, outdoor and air-to-ground connectivity for mobile operators and large enterprises. The company has already integrated the wireless businesses of Jabil and Corning, acquired in 2025.
Airspan has assumed warranty and support obligations for the acquired products and has stated its intention to fulfil outstanding orders, subject to the terms agreed with Cambium Networks and completion of the process to become an Airspan customer. Discussions with the OEM supplier regarding the PTP 820/850 lines are still ongoing; their future availability and support have yet to be confirmed.
Update – 18 September 2026: Cambium Networks enters administration
Cambium Networks Corp. has announced that Cambium Networks Ltd. (CNL)—a UK-based company indirectly and wholly owned by the group—officially entered administration in the United Kingdom on September 14, 2026.
It is important to note that this situation does not stem from issues regarding the quality or reliability of the technologies developed by Cambium Networks. Over the years, the company has built a broad, competitive portfolio integrating Wi-Fi, switching, GPON, Fixed Wireless Broadband, SD-WAN, and backup connectivity systems, all managed via the cnMaestro platform. The critical issues leading to the current situation are primarily financial and corporate in nature.

cnMaestro Continuity: Recommended Actions
Airspan has confirmed that it will keep cnMaestro operational for all acquired product lines, ensuring continued management of the associated networks. A significant number of the platform’s developers have joined Airspan, which plans to maintain and further develop it. cnMaestro MarketApps and access to CBRS SAS and AFC services through cnMaestro also remain available.
Cambium Networks has extended cnMaestro Cloud support until at least the end of October 2026 for its entire product portfolio. For product lines not acquired by Airspan, service continuity beyond that date remains to be determined.
Pending further updates, Aikom International recommends the following actions for products outside the acquisition:
- export network configurations and the complete device inventory as soon as possible;
- install the on-premises version of cnMaestro to ensure continued network management capabilities beyond October 1, 2026 (a complete installation guide is available at this link);
- conduct an initial migration test on a specific network or limited installation;
- review the terms of active support contracts, licenses, and warranties;
document configurations and information required to manage the installed base.
