MikroTik produces networking and internet connectivity devices. The brand’s best-known products are MikroTik Wi-Fi routers and wireless broadband devices for Wireless ISP.

Operational in almost every country, the company is from Latvia, based in Riga. MikroTik’s experience in developing hardware and routing systems highly compatible with the most popular industry standards led to the creation, in 1997, of the RouterOS software.

MikroTik routers and software

These instruments are characterised by stability, high controllability and flexibility for all types of routers and interfaces developed on the Linux kernel. Thanks to RouterOS, any PC or MikroTik RouterBOARD can become a dedicated router.

Since 2002, the company has been manufacturing hardware under its own brand, called RouterBOARD. Today, the company boasts a portfolio of over 160 products.

MikroTik branded software is developed with the following features:

  • 802.11a/b/g/n/ac support;
  • custom Nv2 TDMA protocol;
  • Stateful firewall, tunnels;
  • STP bridging with filtering;
  • WDS and Virtual AP;
  • HotSpot for Plug-and-Play access;

  • Telnet/mac-telnet/ssh/console admin;
  • configuration and real-time monitoring;

MikroTik Ethernet Router, what’s new

The company offers a wide selection of Ethernet routers based on its own RouterOS operating system. The Cloud Core Router integrated units are the latest novelty in this range.

MikroTik Switch for copper and fibre optics

The company provides desktop switches for medium-business level fibre connectivity in the CR 100 and 200 range, but also desktop and rack-mounted switches for Enterprise level fibre connectivity in the CR 300 range.

Wireless Broadband systems

MikroTik offers a wide range of wireless broadband devices for multiple uses and frequency bands: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 60 GHz.
